FULL COLOUR
Our workflow is based on CMYK. If your artwork contains RGB or Pantone colours they will be converted to CMYK during the print process. This will result in colour variance and we cannot be held responsible. We also do not offer a colour matching service on full colour print.
SPOT COLOUR
For one or two colour work (Spot Colour Stationery or NCR) please ensure the colour is set as a ‘spot’ when creating the artwork.
CROPS & BLEEDS
When creating new artwork specify 3mm bleed on each edge in the ‘document settings’ and extend any colour or photographs into this area. When your artwork is complete please ensure you save with crop marks and select ‘document bleed settings’.
CREATING MULTIPAGE PDF
We only accept artwork in pdf format. If your artwork contains more than one page we require the artwork to be supplied as one multipage pdf.
FONTS
Please ensure fonts are embedded when you export a pdf or convert all text to outlines.
TRANSPARENCY
If your artwork contains any objects with a transparency we recommend flattening the artwork to avoid any potential problems occurring.
SPOT UV
Spot UV Varnish is a great way to showcase an image or add a luxury finish to your business cards, however we recommend that it is not used on lightweight or thin fonts or shapes and any copy text.
We have to allow for a 1-2mm shift within the Spot UV process, when the Spot UV is being applied to the text area.
IMAGES
All images should be no less that 300dpi for maximum print quality.
DISCLAIMER: Due to natural variations in the printing process we cannot guarantee a 100% colour match.
